Ace bus - chessman (06/24/2010) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
I rode the ace bus to downtown from the strip on a Sunday night. It was much faster than the duce. It also easy to get to the Hilton without using the monorail. You might have to wait a while for it to arrive, but is was fast and easy.

Avoid the Deuce - brendanla182_ (02/16/2010) - 5 out of 5 stars
From Downtown to the Strip or vice versa find route 108, 108 crosses Las Vegas Blvd in two different location, Mid-Strip near Treasure Island and South Strip at Tropicana. The Deuce can take 2-3 Hours at Busy times, Route 108 may take 30 minutes. At the end of march the new ACE line to the strip starts and The Deuce will no longer run downtown, Ace will be limited stops on the Strip, but if you want to make every stop you will have to catch the Deuce at Sahara, but either way I'd recommend you still stick with 108 and avoid all the rest of the tourists.

Best Transport Deal in Town - VegasOutsider (01/23/2010) - 4.5 out of 5 stars
Have ridden the Deuce many times. Caught it at 5pm at Paris headed downtown. Thankfully they have a bench and canopy here because it was raining buckets. Not all stops have cover. Very crowded heading North but got on the first bus at rush hour though standing room only. Trip from Downtown to mid-Strip at any hour was fine with very little wait and plenty of room. Now a $7 24-hour pass but well worth the money. Hop on and off at your whim. Bus drivers very patient and helpful. Don't be intimidated. A taxi won't get you downtown any faster - you'll just pay 5 times more. Much better value and more flexible than the monorail though the latter is faster for travel between major points (ie. MGM Grand to Convention Center) but it wont take you downtown like the Deuce will. You'd be foolish not to use it on a Strip-Downtown casino prowl.

Deuce is Number One - ALASKAMAN (06/20/2009) - 5 out of 5 stars
Rode the Deuce on my last trip (June 16-19) Advise riding in the morning during the week to avoid the crowds. Great view up top in front/great way to see the strip. Three (3) day senior (60)/medicare/youth (6-17) pass $7.50 (Must be purchased before boarding the Duece with a free reduced fare photo ID card available at RTC Bus Downtown Transit Center and RTC South Strip Transfer Terminal)
